Flow Water Program

Hydration. Health. Dignity.

Clean drinking water is a basic human need. When a family doesn’t have it, The Clarity House helps.

What it is

Free drinking water for people who are going without.

Water insecurity is real in our region. Wells fail, service gets cut off, a household budget runs out before the month does. The Flow Water Program exists so that a lack of safe drinking water is never one more thing a family has to carry.

There is no application. If you are facing water or food insecurity, you qualify. Come to the house to pick up water, or if getting here is the hard part, we can bring it to you.

How to get water

Two ways to get water

Pick up at the house

Come by 607 Madison Street, Lynchburg during water pickup hours and take what your household needs.

Pickup hours: Every Saturday, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM. Holiday hours vary. Check our social media to see whether the house is open or closed on a holiday before you come by.

Ask for delivery

Veterans, single parents and people living in rural areas can have water delivered within roughly a 25-mile radius of the house.

Call 434-316-4562 or 434-382-7720, email theclarityhouse434@gmail.com, or use the contact form and mention water delivery.

Keep water flowing.

Support the Water Program

Every case of water we hand out was paid for or carried in by someone in this community. Here is how to be one of those people.

  1. Give money

Donations buy water in bulk and cover the fuel for deliveries. When you donate, add a note that it is for the Water Program.

  2. Donate water

Yes, we accept water donations. Cases of bottled water and sealed jugs can be dropped at the house. Reach out first for a large drop so someone is here to help unload.

  3. Partner with us

Businesses, churches, civic groups and other organizations can sponsor water, run a drive, or help with deliveries. Let’s talk.

  4. Drive

Volunteer drivers make rural deliveries possible. A car, a few hours and a willingness to show up is all it takes. Sign up to volunteer.
