  • Non-clinical, peer-led community support
  • Open to people on a recovery journey, wherever you are in it
  • Uses familiar community-support principles associated with AA and NA, but this is not a step program
  • Built around connection, accountability, mindfulness and peer support
  • A confidential community environment. What happens in group stays in group.

Also on Tuesdays

The Hill City Mindfulness Recovery Group and a second mindfulness recovery group rotate on Tuesday evenings at the house. Check our social media for this week’s group and time.

What to expect

A room, a circle, and people who get it.

Come as you are.

  1. Walk in

The group meets in the front room of the house. Arrive a few minutes early if you can. Someone will point you to a chair.

  2. Listen or share

Nobody is required to speak. Some weeks you talk, some weeks you just listen. Both count.

  3. Keep it in the room

What people share stays with the group. That is the one rule everyone agrees to before anything else.

Beyond the group

Recovery is part of everything we do here.

Art as a positive coping tool

Free Flow Art and mindfulness photography give your hands something to do and your mind somewhere to go. No skill required. Create. Release. Heal.

Mindfulness and quiet

The Rachel Burns Zen Garden is a place to rest your mind. Sit, breathe, chalk something on the wall. Mindfulness runs through every program in the house.

Free Narcan

Narcan is available through The Clarity House, no questions asked. Ask anyone at the house, or reach out and we’ll set it aside for you.

Community connection

Recovery gets easier with people around you. Live music nights, open jams, poetry, community dinners and art shows are all open to everyone. See what’s coming up.

A note on what we are, and what we aren’t

Our recovery programs are community-based and peer-supported. They are not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health or substance-use treatment. The Clarity House is not a clinical treatment provider. What we offer is a welcoming space, people who understand, and a place to keep showing up.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you or someone you know needs immediate emotional support, call or text 988 any time.

What is 988? The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline offers 24/7 call, text and chat access to trained crisis counselors for suicidal, substance use, mental health or any other emotional crisis. People can also dial 988 if they are worried about a loved one.
